<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of instructing the timing of clearing intermediate data cached. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: a print data storage device 13 for storing print data; a drawing instruction generation device 12 for analyzing the print data and generating drawing instruction data including the drawing instruction of a printing object; a table generating device 14 for generating a printing object appearance table in which the appearance information of the printing object in the print data is registered every printing object; and a drawing processing device 16 for performing the drawing processing of the printing object by executing the instruction of the drawing instruction data, and for deleting the appearance information of the printing object that is drawing-processed.
