<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device which prevents occurrence of Moire. <P>SOLUTION: An image display device comprises: an image generation part which has a plurality of pixels arranged at a constant pixel pitch and creates an image with the pixels; a transparent substrate of resin impregnated glass fiber which is woven at a constant pitch deviated from the constant pixel pitch; and an optical element which is formed on at least one surface of the transparent substrate, has a polarization modulation part to convert the polarization state of incident beams, and is attached to the image generation part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
