<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily perform a sheet conveying operation with a small load, dispensing with an increase in a suction force by an air suction part, accordingly, to make a device small in size and to reduce the power consumption and noise of the device. <P>SOLUTION: In the state in which a driven contact roller 16D is moved to a detection position where the roller 16D comes in contact with the top face of the uppermost sheet 2A by a driven contact roller moving means 16C, the height position of the uppermost sheet 2A is detected by a position detecting means 16A, and also, a sheet bundle 2 in a sheet storage part 11 is lifted up by a sheet elevating means 18 so that the uppermost sheet 2A is located on the optimum height position, thereafter, the uppermost sheet 2A may be conveyed by operating an air sending part 14, a sheet sucking/conveying part 12 and a driving part 17, and also, the driven contact roller 16D is moved by the driven contact roller moving means 16C to a retreat position where the roller 16D does not come in contact with the uppermost sheet 2A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
