摘要 |
A cooling system (figs 2 & 3) for a motor vehicle combustion engine has a pressure sensor 3 with an impermeable diaphragm 4 in contact with the coolant on a first side 5 and a sensor 6 separated from the coolant on a second side 7. The pressure sensor 3 can be in an expansion tank (10, fig 2) or at the outlet of a coolant pump (12, fig 3), and can have a silicon-based sensor chip. The diaphragm 4 can be tantalum or HNBR, and adhered to a housing with fluid (e.g. air) correcting pressure damping effects.
