METHOD FOR REMOVING IONS FROM A LIQUID

In a method for removing ions from a liquid, the liquid flows through at least one ion exchanger in a charging zone, wherein the ion exchanger is charged with ions and ions are removed from the liquid. Further, the ion exchanger is electrolytically regenerated in a regeneration zone. In order to improve said method, the ions that are released during the regeneration of the ion exchanger are discharged along with the gases formed by electrolysis of the liquid and/or particles contained therein.
