A gas insulation apparatus(e.g., a gas circuit breaker) includes a high-voltage unit, a zeolite(20) and an insulation gas in a closed vessel(10). The insulation gas is CO 2 gas or a gas including CO 2 gas as the main component. The zeolite (20) is contained in a zeolite case(21) and is placed under an insulation gas atmosphere. CO 2 is adsorbed on the zeolite (20) before use of the gas insulation apparatus. |
