<p>PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing C12orf59 gene or protein or fragment thereof for preventing and treating cancer is provided to suppress invasion of cancer cells. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating cancer contains C12orf59(chromosome 12 open reading frame 59) protein or fragment thereof as an active ingredient. The pharmaceutical composition also contains a vector containing a polynucleotide encoding C12orf59 protien or fragment thereof or cell containing the vector as an active ingredient. The vector is a linear DNA, plasmid DNA, or recombinant viral vector. The recombinant virus is retrovirus, adenovirus, adeno-associated virus, herpes simplex virus, or lentivirus.</p> |
