Composite material comprises two plate-shaped components and a layer (4) of visco-elastic material between the plate-shaped components situated, where one of the plate-shaped components at least one of its smooth surfaces extending away uplifting mold element (5) and the other plate-shaped component (3) has a substantially planar surface. An independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing a composite material comprising applying the layer of the visco-elastic material on one of the plate-shaped components; joining the two plate-shaped members; and transforming at least one of the plate-shaped components during the bonding of both plate-shaped components.
