ORGANIC LIGHT EMITTING DIODE AND METHOD OF FABRICATING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An organic light emitting device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent total reflection on the surface of a substrate and a first electrode by forming a light extraction improving layer between the substrate and the first electrode of the organic light emitting device. CONSTITUTION: A light extraction improving layer(120) is formed on the upper side of a substrate(110). An organic light emitting diode(130) is formed on the upper side of the light extraction improving layer. The organic light emitting diode includes a first electrode(131), a second electrode(135), and an organic light emitting layer(133) between the first and second electrodes. The first electrode and the second electrode are made of transparent conductive materials. The light extraction improving layer transmits light from the organic light emitting diode to the substrate.
