PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a display device and a bonding device for manufacturing the display device are provided to prevent a junction failure by flattening a complex member with a pressure device and preventing a bonding layer from being floated or cut. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(11) is formed on a substrate(10). A sealing substrate(20) including a complex member(21) and a metal layer(22) is manufactured. A bonding layer(12) including a plurality of spacers and a resin layer are spread on the substrate or the sealing substrate. A display device is assembled by interposing the bonding layer between the substrate and the sealing substrate. A spacer(31) for maintaining a thickness is arranged on the outer side of the display device.
