The device has a mat (1) fixing a grinding tool on a machining machine, and a V-shaped head (2) for maintenance and guidance of an abrasive cloth on a surface of a workpiece to be machined. Two locking stones (3, 4) are placed at ends of the mat and the head, where the locking stones eccentrically clamp the abrasive cloth to lock the abrasive cloth in a throttling system. The head includes two pins (14, 15) for maintaining the abrasive cloth against the locking stones.
