FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wood beam milling machines. Proposed milling machine comprises beam transfer line and milling module including two milling electronically controlled assemblies, each adapted to milling opposite surface of beam one section. Every milling assembly comprises one milling tool coupled with appropriate translation drives displacing it along two appropriate perpendicular directions located in plane arranged across direction of aforesaid beam transfer line. Electronic means controls translation to simultaneously allow said tools milling of appropriate beam surfaces, performing first milling pass on appropriate surface, performing second pass along surface adjoining that of previous milling, and performing third milling pass along surface parallel with that of second pass.
