<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for improving effectiveness of catalyst carrying by a supercritical fluid. <P>SOLUTION: In order to make a CNT 14 without carrying a catalyst carry a Pt catalyst, first a substrate 12 to which the CNT 14 without carrying a catalyst is attached is arranged in a reactor second container 112b under a sealed environment of supercritical carbon dioxide where a Pt catalyst complex containing a Pt catalyst is dispersed. Thereafter the temperature of the supercritical carbon dioxide is maintained below a decomposition temperature of the Pt catalyst complex, and the temperature of the CNT 14 without carrying a catalyst is maintained above the decomposition temperature of the Pt catalyst complex through heating of the substrate 12. In addition, the pressure of the supercritical carbon dioxide is maintained at 7.5 MPa, which is slightly higher than supercritical pressure (7.38 MPa) of carbon dioxide, the supercritical carbon dioxide is brought into contact with the CNT 14 attached to the substrate 12, and the Pt catalyst is carried on the CNT 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
