<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article transport device capable of not only preventing dusts from being attached to an article during transport but also preventing a substance of ammonia, sulfur dioxide or the like from being attached to the article. <P>SOLUTION: The article transport device, in which a storage space K is formed on a moving body 7 to cover the surrounding of the article 5 retained by an article retention part 9 located on a rising position, an opening part 25 of permitting the rising and the falling of the article retention part 9 between the rising position and a falling position is formed on the lower end part of the storage space K and a cleaning air ventilating means 26 for ventilating cleaning air through an air cleaning filter is disposed in the storage space K, includes an opening and closing body 27 which is freely changeable to an opening position of opening the opening part 25 and a closing position of closing the opening part by oscillating around a lateral axis center and an opening and closing control means which locates the opening and closing body 27 on the opening position when the article retention part 9 is caused to rise and fall between the rising position and the falling position and changes the opening and closing body 27 from the opening position to the closing position when the rising and falling between the rising position and the falling position of the article retention part 9 is completed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
