<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcement method of an existing foundation for structure, capable of enabling an existing foundation rationally and economically to be reinforced and capable of easily and surely integrating an additional foundation with a batter pile. <P>SOLUTION: A steel sheet pile wall 5 consisting of a plurality of U-shaped steel sheet piles connected with each other so that the steel sheet pile wall 5 is corrugated in a plan view is constructed in the ground 2 which is as close to a site boundary around an existing footing 3 as possible. Then, steel pipe batter piles 6 are constructed in the ground 2 within the steel sheet pile wall 5 so that the steel pipe batter piles 6 are in contact with the inside crest part 5A of the sheet pile wall 5. Then, the ground 2 between the existing footing 3 and the steel sheet pile wall 5 is excavated, and the steel sheet pile wall 5 is then coupled to the batter piles 6 by welding. Then, concrete is placed in a space between the steel sheet pile wall 5 and the existing footing 3 to add an additional footing 7 to the existing footing 3, the additional footing 7 and the existing footing 3 being integrated together, the additional footing 7 and the heads of the batter piles 6 being integrated together. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
