<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal panel, which is capable of efficiently correcting a bright defect. A liquid crystal panel (11), which comprises a pair of substrates (40, 30) and a liquid crystal layer (50) that is arranged between the pair of substrates (40, 30), is manufactured by this manufacturing method, and this manufacturing method comprises: a defect detection step for detecting a bright defect of the liquid crystal panel (11); a first light-blocking portion formation step for forming a light-blocking portion (BL1) in at least a part of the region that surrounds the bright defect when viewed in plan on a surface of one of the pair of substrates (40, 30), on which a color filter (42) and a black matrix (BM) are formed, said surface being in contact with the liquid crystal layer (50); a recessed portion formation step for forming a recessed portion in a position, which overlaps the bright defect, on a surface of at least one of the pair of substrates (40, 30), said surface being on the reverse side of the surface facing the liquid crystal layer (50); and a second light-blocking portion formation step for forming a light-blocking portion (BL2) in the recessed portion. The present invention prevents oblique light leakage in the bright defect region by means of the above-mentioned configuration.</p> |
