<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for improving a moisture distribution in a power generation region while enhancing consumption efficiency of reactant gas in a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: Flow passage grooves for reactant gas are formed on a fuel cell separator 20. The flow passage grooves include supply-side flow passage grooves connected to supply manifolds, and exhaust-side flow passage grooves connected to exhaust manifolds. The flow passage grooves are separated from each other with a flow passage wall interposed in between. The supply-side flow passage grooves include supply-side parallel flow passage grooves 23 each having a pre-stage portion 23a which extends from the upstream side to the downstream side in a power generation region 11, and a post-stage portion 23b which turns back at the pre-stage portion 23a and extends from the downstream side to the upstream side, and which has a closed end. The exhaust-side flow passage grooves include exhaust-side parallel flow passage grooves 25 which extend in parallel to one another at positions adjacent to the pre-stage portions 23a or the post-stage portions 23b of the supply-side parallel flow passage grooves 23, and each of which has a closed end. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
