<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector plug incorporating a coil spring that energizes a shutter holding member axially forward with respect to a plug frame and suppressing the entire length to a short length. <P>SOLUTION: In an optical connector plug 10, a housing 20 comprises a grip member 21 relatively movable in the axial direction, and a shutter holding member 22. The grip member 21 includes an extension state in which the grip member 21 moves axially to the rearward of the shutter holding member 22 and a reduction state in which the grip member 21 moves axially to the forward of the shutter holding member 22. The shutter holding member 22 includes a shutter member 70, and the housing 20 includes, in the inside thereof, energizing means 90 that energizes the shutter holding member 22 axially forward with respect to the plug frame 30.
