<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device capable of executing booklet printing depending on free space. <P>SOLUTION: An image formation device has: a first storage unit 92 having a nonvolatile semiconductor and storing image data to be printed; an encryption unit 74 encrypting the image data; a second storage unit 95 having a hard disk and storing image data encrypted by the encryption unit 74; a composition unit 72 generating composite image data by composing the image data for two pages so as to obtain an order by which a booklet can be produced; and a storage controller 75 that stores the image data in the first storage unit 92 in the case that free space required for storing the image data in the first storage unit 92 exists, and stores the composite image data composed by the composition unit 72 in the second storage unit 95 after encryption line by line by the encryption unit 74 in the case that no free space required for storing the image data in the first storage unit 92 exists when booklet printing is requested. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
