<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical receptacle for suppressing axial deviation among a sleeve and a stab and a lens. <P>SOLUTION: This optical receptacle includes: a housing integrally formed with a lens which projects to a photoelectric conversion element package side; a sleeve intrinsic at the opposite side of the projecting side of the lens of the housing, which has an inner hole into which a plug ferrule equipped with an optical fiber is inserted; a stab arranged at the opposite side of the insertion side of the plug ferrule of the inner hole of the sleeve, which has a first end face configured of a convex surface which is adhesive to the top end of the optical fiber at the axial middle position of the sleeve and a second end face installed at the lens side. This optical receptacle is characterized such that a portion of the outer periphery of the arrangement side of the stab of the sleeve is press-fit and fixed to the housing, and that the section to which the stab has not been press-fit and fixed is bonded to the housing by adhesive. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
