<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine that prevents an illegal act using an illegal board. <P>SOLUTION: When both values of a jackpot random number counter and a random number initial value counter are within a normal range, both values are maintained without being initialized even in initialization processing. Even if one counter value is not within the normal range, if the other counter value is within the normal range, the one counter value in the normal range is written to the other counter, and both counter values are maintained at either value. The jackpot random number counter is the one for determining the occurrence of a jackpot. The random number initial value counter is the one used for setting the initial value.
