<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair iron that has improved user-friendliness and durability and is easily adaptable to various hair styles with a single unit. <P>SOLUTION: The hair iron 10 for holding hair, heating it and making a curl is characterized in that it includes: a pair of arms 21, 22 that are turnable in mutually approaching/receding direction with the proximal end as a fulcrum; heating parts 23, 24 that are provided in the inner surfaces of the tip end sides of arms 21, 22 respectively and are opposite to each other and that are capable of holding hair in-between; a large number of heat radiation holes 31 that are formed on the external surface of the tip end side of each arm 21, 22 so as to radiate heat generated from the heating parts 23, 24 to the outside; and recessed parts 33, 34 that are formed respectively in positions away from the heat radiation holes 31 in the distal ends in the external surface of the tip end side of arms 21, 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
