METHOD FOR LIGHTWEIGHT VIDEO CONTENTS ENCRYPTION AND DECRYPTION TO PROVIDE MOBILE CONTENTS SERVICE

PURPOSE: A method for encrypting and decrypting a light video content for providing a mobile content service is provided to shorten the encryption time of a streaming server and the decryption time of an encrypted digital video content in a mobile terminal device of the user. CONSTITUTION: A content server generates an encryption key through an encryption key generator(602). The content server transmits a required video content and detects a corresponding stream of a video content(604,605). A type of an NAL(Network Adaptation Layer) is an SPS(Sequence Parameter Sets) in the corresponding stream. The content server encrypts an RBSP(Raw Byte Sequence Payload) of the SPS by using the generated encryption key(606).
