<p>Provided is a power management system, wherein charge/discharge control in accordance with dispersion in the properties of storage-battery packs, and charge/discharge control of a storage-battery system (22) comprising a plurality of storage battery units is conducted. An overall storage-battery-unit management unit (16) calculates the average value of SOCs of all the storage-battery packs within the storage-battery system (22), and conducts the charge/discharge control so that the average SOC is within a prescribed range. The overall storage-battery-unit management unit (16) also extracts a maximum SOC and a minimum SOC, and prohibits charging when the maximum SOC exceeds an upper limit value, and prohibits discharging when the minimum SOC is less than a lower limit value.</p> |
