PURPOSE: An open type bottom flange PSC box girder of a bridge is provided to open a part of both end sides of a girder or the central part of a bottom flange so that the structural efficiency, the constructability, profitability, and the maintenance are improved. CONSTITUTION: An open type bottom flange PSC box girder bridge is composed by installing a box girder(3) in which tension is introduced by using a PSC wire on the top of an abutment or pier(2) installed on the ground at a regular interval. A part of the lower flange of an end part is opened and a lower flange of the central part is closed so that the box girder is formed. The box girder is formed into a segment type and comprises a coupling key in both end parts to be joined to other adjacent box girder. |
