<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve device capable of stably keeping its performance for a long time, and an absorption refrigerator. <P>SOLUTION: The valve device 40 includes a valve-driving unit 45 installed outside a pipe 41 through which a liquid flows, a valve stem 44 that makes up the valve-driving unit 45 and extends into the pipe 41, and a valve seat 42 which is installed in the pipe 41 and on which a valve disk 43 attached to the tip of the valve stem 44 abuts. When the valve stem 44 moves, the liquid is allowed to get in the valve-driving unit 45 through a gap δ at the valve stem through-hole 141 on the pipe 41. A supply tube 49 having a flow passage area larger than the gap δ at the valve stem through-hole 141 on the pipe 41 connects the inside of the valve-driving unit 45 to a liquid source for the liquid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
