<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor fan with a low friction factor seal member surely held by a fan cover with no need of a separate holding member and a vacuum cleaner equipped with the same. <P>SOLUTION: The motor fan includes a motor part, a fan, the fan cover, the seal member and the holding member. The fan is rotated and driven by the motor part generating torque by energization. The fan cover has an air suction port disposed in an end part opposite to the motor part and contains the fan. The seal member is cylindrically disposed on the outer peripheral side of the air suction port of the fan cover in opposition to the fan. The seal member has a recessed part depressed toward the inner peripheral side in an outer peripheral wall and comes into contact with the fan to cut off an air flow passing through between the fan and the fan cover. The holding member is disposed on the outer peripheral side of the seal member, is cured after applied to be adhered to a fan-side surface of the fan cover and partially bites into the recessed part to hold the seal member to the fan cover. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
