<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal fitting for connecting separator shafts, in which, when connecting two separators, one separator is inserted into a hole of a separator connection metal fitting attached to an end of another separator and, after positioning, the separator is fixed by turning a nut. <P>SOLUTION: A stationary portion having a female screw part is provided on one end of a separator connection metal fitting 1, a separator shaft is used as a basic separator shaft 51 and is inserted through a through-hole 10 of a U-shaped wall side 7, and a male screw part 12 of the basic separator shaft 51 is threadedly engaged with the female screw part on the bottom of the through-hole to fix the basic separator shaft. Then, an adjusting separator shaft 61 is inserted into a side face of the basic separator shaft 51 in the through-hole 10 of the separator connection metal fitting 1 from the direction opposite to that of the basic separator shaft 51, and only one of the shafts is slid to determine the position of the total length thereof and is easily matched to an exact size by turning a hexagon nut 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
