<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drop driving voltage required for the rotations of a mirror. <P>SOLUTION: An optical switch comprises a mirror device, and a control device 1. The mirror device has a mirror 103 rotatably supported, and electrodes 302a, 302b, 303a, and 303b disposed separately from the mirror 103. The control device 1 has a driving voltage generating portion 3 which generates control voltage for controlling a rotation angle of the mirror 103 about each electrode according to a desired rotation angle of the mirror 103, a bias voltage generating portion 4 which generates bias voltage for controlling distances between the mirror 103 and the electrodes 302a, 302b, 303a, and 303b about each electrode according to the desired rotation angle of the mirror 103, and adding portions 5a-5d which add the control voltage and the bias voltage about each electrode, and applies the driving voltage after addition on the corresponding electrodes 302a, 302b, 303a, and 303b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
