<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device for vehicle which can provide a sufficient operational stroke particularly in a low input load region and, moreover, can sufficiently provide hysteresis upon removal of the input load, in relation to a stroke simulator of the brake device for vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The brake device for vehicle includes: a control piston 21 formed in a hollow cylindrical shape having a front end wall 21f; and a stroke simulator 25 comprising an input piston 41 which is coupled to a brake operational member 23 and is slidably fitted into the control piston 21 from the rear end, and first and second elastic bodies 46, 47 which are disposed in series between the front end wall 21f and the input piston 41 and the both of which are made of elastic material of rubber or elastomer; wherein the hardness of the first elastic body 46 is set to be lower than that of the second elastic body 47, and when an operational load is input to the input piston 41, the first elastic body 46 and the second elastic body 47 are compressively deformed in the axial direction in the order. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
