<p>The arrangement (24) has deformation elements i.e. rods (32, 34), arranged outside of a battery (22) in a vehicle transverse direction for absorption of crash energy during a force application caused by an accident. The deformation elements form a frame that surrounds the battery at three sides, where the battery is held at a frame longitudinal beam (14) of a commercial vehicle. The deformation elements are formed from a high-strength material e.g. steel and composite plastic. The deformation elements are arranged at a distance to each other so that a sufficient deformation space is formed.</p> |
