<p>It is an object to provide a composition and process for treatment of a fabric that improves efficacy of subsequent cleaning. The present inventors have found that a composition comprising a carboxylic acid polymer that has been neutralised at least partially to the salt form and a second polymer, capable of forming hydrogen bonds with the first polymer in the present of an acid, provides both a secondary cleaning benefit and good storage stability, without forming polymer-polymer complex when it is in the solid formulation and give a complex when dispersed in water.</p> |
