<p>Provided is an indoor unit for a ceiling-mounted four-way air conditioner, wherein the indoor unit includes a housing, a fan installed in the housing, and a heat-exchange coil. According to one embodiment of the present invention, an indoor unit for a ceiling-mounted four-way air conditioner comprises an airflow-changing unit, a lower case, and a rotatable discharge unit. The airflow-changing unit includes a plurality of inlet channels for introducing indoor air, and a plurality of outlet tunnels for the passage of air with which the heat-exchange coil exchanges heat. The airflow-changing unit is coupled to the housing. The lower case is coupled to a lower surface of the airflow-changing unit, and has a plurality of inlet ports in communication with the inlet channels. The rotatable discharge unit is rotatably coupled to a lower surface of either the airflow-changing unit or the lower case so as to discharge the heat-exchanged air. Each of the outlet tunnels has an inlet located at an edge of the airflow-changing unit and an outlet located at the center of the airflow-changing unit.</p> |
