<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyurethane foam which has excellent hydrophilicity, and a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The hydrophilic polyurethane foam is made of polyurethane having a silanol group formed by using polyol (such as polyetherpolyol and polyesterpolyol), polyisocyanate (such as tolylene diisocyanate), a foaming agent (water), foam stabilizer, a catalyst (such as an amine compound) and alkoxy silane represented by the following general formula (1), and has an open-cell structure: R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>-O-[Si(OR<SP POS="POST">2</SP>)<SB POS="POST">2</SB>-O]<SB POS="POST">m</SB>-R<SP POS="POST">3</SP>(1) (in the formula, R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>, R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">3</SP>are each the same or different and are a 1 to 30C hydrocarbon group; and m denotes an integer of ≥2). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
