<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve high running performance and drainage performance on an icy and snowy road surface. <P>SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire 1 has a plurality of inclined grooves 11 inclined with respect to a virtual line (tread-width-direction line L) along the direction of a tread width W. Each of the inclined grooves 11 has: a first inclined groove 101 that extends from the outside W1 in the tire width direction to a tire equator line CL as going from the front side F in the rotation direction to the rear side B, and is terminated at the tread center part TC including the tire equator line CL; and a second inclined groove 102 that is connected to an end region 101S, on the side of the tire equator line CL, of the first inclined groove 101, and extends to the outside W1 in the tire width direction as going from the front side F in the rotation direction to the rear side B.
