Disclosed herein is a process for dealkylating ethylbenzene, comprising: passing a stream comprising ethylbenzene over an effective amount of a catalyst, wherein the catalyst comprises (a) a molecular sieve comprising one or more crystals wherein the molecular sieve has an external surface area of no more than 20 m2/g; and (b) a binder.
