OPTICAL SHEET FOR PLASMA DISPLAY, PLASMA DISPLAY HAVING THE OPTICAL SHEET, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE OPTICAL SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical sheet for a plasma display, the sheet capable of suppressing degradation in a near-infrared absorbing dye by ultraviolet rays and suppressing an increase in the number of layers in the optical sheet.

SOLUTION: The optical sheet 10 for a plasma display includes: an optical filter layer 50 containing a near-infrared absorbing dye; and a contrast improving functional layer 70 which is laminated on the optical filter layer 50 and includes a transparent substrate 71, a plurality of unit light-transmitting portions 72 capable of transmitting light and positioned between the optical filter layer 50 and the transparent substrate 71, and a plurality of unit light-absorbing portions 73 disposed in parallel to and between the unit light-transmitting portions 72. The transparent substrate 71 contains an ultraviolet-absorbing material; and the unit light-transmitting portions 72 are formed by curing a first composition containing a photopolymerizable compound and a photopolymerization initiator with visible light.
