<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling growth density of a vertically oriented carbon nanotube (CNT) supplied from a CNT manufacturer to desired density, and to provide a density-controlled CNT group produced by the method. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing a highly densified transferred object includes processes (I)-(III). Process (I): a process of obtaining a structure with a tip part buried in a substrate or penetrated through the substrate, by coating, with the contractible substrate, the tip part on a side not in contact with a surface of a support body, in the CNT group formed substantially vertically with respect to the surface of a support body, and by heating the substrate to a temperature (X) of a softening temperature or higher and lower than a decomposition temperature of the substrate. Process (II): a process of obtaining the transferred object separated only with the support body from the structure. Process (III): a process of obtaining a contracted highly-densified transferred object by heating the contractible substrate of the transferred object at a temperature (Y) of a softening temperature or higher and lower than a decomposition temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
