<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing device capable of increasing the absolute amount of a lubricant contributing to lubrication during rotation of the bearing, without increasing the number of components. <P>SOLUTION: The rolling bearing device includes an outer ring in a fixed side, an inner ring fixed to a rotary shaft, a plurality of rolling elements present between an inner ring raceway and an outer ring raceway, and a cage holding the rolling elements. The rolling bearing device further includes a lubricating oil retaining member 7 which includes a woven fabric 20 and a resin layer 21 covering the woven cloth 20 and is formed by impregnating the woven fabric 20 with lubricating oil.
