The hybrid power train device has a gear mechanism (10), which has two clutch units (11,12) for supplying different gears and comprising a control or regulating unit (13), which is provided to transfer a clutch torque from the disengaging clutch unit to engaging latter clutch unit during a gear change. The control or regulating unit for gear change is provided to temporarily hold the clutch torque constant at the disengaging clutch unit during starting of the combustion engine (14).
