<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video processing device which excellently prevents deterioration in image quality of a 3D video obtained by 2D/3D conversion. <P>SOLUTION: The video processing device comprises restriction means, input means, and conversion means. The restriction means restricts an input video format corresponding to a 3D conversion instruction to convert a 2D video to a 3D video.
