<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery in which generation of gas is reduced during high temperature storage, and increase in resistance is minimized. <P>SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery 1 comprises a positive electrode 3, a negative electrode 4 containing a lithium titanium oxide where the lithium ion occlusion potential is 0.4 V(for Li/Li<SP POS="POST">+</SP>) or higher, and a nonaqueous electrolyte, and the manufacturing method of the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is provided. The manufacturing method includes: a step for obtaining a temporarily sealed secondary battery by housing the positive electrode 3, the negative electrode 4, and the nonaqueous electrolyte in an enclosure 8 and sealing an opening 9 of the enclosure 8 temporarily; a step for adjusting the state of charge (SOC) of the temporarily sealed secondary battery lower than 20% (excluding 0%); a step for holding the temporarily sealed secondary battery thus adjusted in an atmosphere of 50-90°C; a step for opening the temporarily sealed secondary battery and exhausting the internal gas; and a step for regularly sealing the enclosure 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
