PURPOSE: A method for providing mobile internet service is provided to reduce the power consumption of in-door base station, and interference between base stations. CONSTITUTION: A terminal receives recognition information of a base station group which is included a service area of a connected out-door base station, and a first and a second in-door base station from the out-door base station(S601). An alerting message toward the carrier sense of the first power save or the active mode first in-door base station is transmitted to the out-door base station or the first in-door base station by using the recognition information(S603). According to the mode change message which is transmitted from an out-door base station or the first in-door base station in response to the alerting message, a hand over is proceed to the second in-door base station in which the mode in changed from a power saving mode to active mode(S605).
