摘要 <p>#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves determining an operation state of an electric motor (7), and cutting the supply of motor in an event of non operation of the motor during certain duration. The motor is reactivated after a rest period, where the rest duration and/or non operation duration are determined based on a temperature of the motor and/or power determined by a sensor. The determination of the operation state and the cut off of the power supply are repeated, and the motor is stopped when the determination of state and cut off of the power supply are repeated for predefined number of times. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Method for controlling an electric motor that actuates a movable cowl equipping a thrust reverser for a jet engine of aircraft. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The method permits to alternate the operation period of the motor and the rest period for minimizing risk of overheating of motor.
