METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR EXPANDING WIRELESS LAN COMMUNICATION AREA IN THE INSIDE OF A HOUSE

PURPOSE: A method for expanding an indoor wireless LAN communication area and a system thereof are provided to enable WiFi devices in a shadow area to access an access point by a WDS function terminal. CONSTITUTION: A WDS(Wireless Distribution System) function terminal sets wireless LAN setup information with communication with an access point(S18). The access point recognizes WDS connection by checking a WDS configuration(S20). A WLAN support device communicates with the WDS function terminal in an indoor shadow area(S22~S31). The WLAN support device communicates with the access point through a wireless bridge function by the WDS connection with the WDS function terminal(S32).
