<p>The battery (1a) has voltage generating cells (2), separate housing elements e.g. base elements (4a), side elements (6a, 6b) and cover elements (8a) comprising maximum three side parts and common four side parts. One of the side parts limits a side of the battery. The elements are connected together by a detent hook i.e. engagement hook, and comprise a channel that allows flow of fluid. The elements comprise a cell connection unit for electrical connection of the cells and a cell monitoring unit for monitoring the cells. A fastening unit (7) attaches the side elements on a base surface. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a rechargeable battery.</p> |
