PURPOSE: An information providing system in the service industry using a POS system and a method thereof are provided to promote the utilization of the POS system by using the data stored in the POS system for acquiring customers. CONSTITUTION: A relay server(110) receives data by wired/wireless communication with POS systems(10). A data server(120) stores the data received in the relay server. A web server(130) provides the data requested by a customer from the data in the data server to a customer terminal, who is connected by the wired/wireless communication through the customer terminal.
