PURPOSE: A system and a method for controlling the entry of a car using a car room mirror are provided to facilitate the installation of the system by detahably attaching a chip having car information on the system. CONSTITUTION: A system for controlling the entry of a car using a car room mirror comprises a room mirror body, a module unit, a card(340), and a display(320). A room mirror is installed on the front surface of the room mirror body. The module unit is installed in the room mirror body and wirelessly transmits and receives car identification information to/from an external car entry control server. The card is attached or detached on/from the module unit and stores car identification information. The display is installed on the rear surface of the room mirror body and selectively displays the car identification information depending on the state of a car.
