PURPOSE: A device for preventing the distortion of welding wire using welding wire drum is provided to prevent forced unwinding and twisting of a wire by using an absorption means for frictional resistance. CONSTITUTION: A device for preventing the distortion of welding wire using welding wire drum(110) a rotating means(10) and an absorption means(20). The rotating means installs to the lower surface of the wire drum. The rotating means rotates at the speed corresponding to a rotational ratio of first and second feeders. The absorption means is installed to the top end portion of the wire drum. The absorption means absorbs the frictional resistance of the wire(115) generating in the rotation process of the wire drum.
