PURPOSE: A display apparatus and control method thereof are provided to enable a user to rapidly search desired information in a webpage by separating the webpage into plural first blocks. CONSTITUTION: An image processing unit(12) processes images in order to display the images on a webpage. A command reception unit(16) receives the command of a user related to the web page. A control unit(15) divides the webpage into plural first blocks. The control unit combines the first blocks which are bigger than a predetermined reference size as a second block. The control unit searches the first and the second block according to the command of the user.
